What’s new in the new year

There hasn’t been much to report on publicly for a while but I do have some tastings and a bigger announcement in the works for the coming weeks.  In the mean time I have been brewing away and hopefully you’ll spot my beer out there soon.  I’ve also started writing a beer column called “Think Beer, Drink Beer” for the Fishtown Star.  The column name was inspired by the Washington Irving quote “Those who drink beer will think beer”.

I’ve written about holiday beers, beers for the non-craft beer drinker to try and about home brew kits.  Expect plenty more on those lines in the coming months.

I will be sharing beers at two upcoming Chili Cook-offs.  First the Center City Residents’ Association is hosting the CCRA Chili Challenge on Sunday, February 12 from 5-9Pm at the First Unitarian Church.

The Fishtown Neighbors Association‘s cook-off, which I did last year and it was great, is tentatively scheduled for March 4th, details will be posted in coming weeks.
