I’ve got two tastings coming up in the next week, expect more to follow since things always pick up in the spring.
First up is the Fishtown Neighbors Association 2nd Annual Chili Cookoff on Sunday, March 25th. Of course there will be chili, from ten local restaurants as well as residents, but more importantly there will be BEER! I’ll be serving my FBR Cream Ale and a new, unnamed, porter recipe. Bombshell Brewing will also be there serving a Smoked Milk Stout, a Lavender Saison and a few other beers. Tickets are only $15 and the event is at 2424 Studios in Fishtown.
Next Monday the 26th I’m serving my Transcontinental Ale at a fundraiser for the Kensington Community Food Co-op held at Pickled Heron restuarant on Frankford Ave. in Fishtown. $40 gets you admission to a great farm-to-table dinner and if you sign up to the co-op, the cost of the meal gets deducted from your membership. Be sure to sign up early, space is limited.
