Philly Beer Week

It is with much anticipation that I wait for this year’s Philly Beer Week to start this Friday.  Part of the reason is that I’ve been asked to serve my beer at not one or two but THREE events!  I’ll put a summary here for anyone who isn’t already following on FB or twitter.

Opening Tap Friday June 3rd 7:30pm – Tapping the Hammer of Glory, los of other breweries, music and a great time all around.  I’ll have the Brandywine Barleywine (White Barleywine ~11.5% abv) and the Navy Yard Red (Red Ale and a more drinkable 5.6%).

Beer Camp – Saturday June 4th – A homebrewer’s event showcasing some great home brewed beer from the area, expect to see some of these people at breweries or opening nanos someday.  I’m bringing the Brunch Stout (Coffee, Oatmeal, Maple Syrup and Milk Stout, made with Johnny Brenda’s coffee beans) and the Transcontinental (California Common beer with a twist).

Super Secret Beer Concert Series – Thursday June 9th – Nanobrewery event showcasing my beers and those of Mellody Brewing Company.  All proceeds go to the non-profit that runs the Philly MOCA art space.  I’m taping the Wit or Witout (Belgian Wit), Troubleshooter Pale Ale and Chocolate Brown (English Brown Ale).
