He will be on hand to discuss his book and his vast knowledge of beer. This is the second of our book and firkin events and the first at the new St. Benjamin’s taproom.

The Hammer of Glory is returning to Saint Benjamin! Join us today around 5:40 as the hammer is passed off to us and we bike it over to Philadelphia Brewing Company. Please join us on your bikes if you can!
We will be serving beer in our taproom while the hammer is here and all night.
I’m sure some of you were as bummed as I was when the South Philly Taproom Wheat Beer Festival got rained out, but luckily it was rescheduled to this Saturday. For those not familiar, this festival is dedicated entirely to wheat beers.
Starting at 7pm Bainbridge St. is offering up tastes of the tropics on their food and beer menu. Check out a special firkin of Wit that we made just for this event. We added mangos, lime juice, raisins and cilantro to the beer.
The Great Beer Expo returns to the Navy Yard this Saturday. Over 75 breweries will be there, make sure to get your tickets!
This Sunday take a bike tour through Philadelphia with Brewmaster Tim Patton. Tim will lead a bike tour starting at the First Post Office and ending at the new Saint Benjamin’s Taproom. Stops along the way will include places historic to Benjamin Franklin and to brewing in Philadelphia. IT will end with pints, a tour of the brewery and snacks at the taproom. Tickets on sale.
The Grey Lodge in NE Philly is hosting a double header of St Benjamin events. First up is Beer Olympics starting at 6pm, come compete with some local brewers.
Next up is the more sedate Front Stoop Lounging at 8pm. Chill with some local brewers and have a beer.
Our beer is back at Bainbridge St for a night of comedy on Monday at 7pm.
The Pub on Passyunk East (aka “The Pope”) is hosting a St Benjamin tap takeover Monday at 4pm. There will be a colonial themed spelling bee at the event.
The official Philly Beer Week Beer Garden is at Spruce Harbor Park. From Monday to Wednesday of this week we will be on tap, come say hi!
